“ We came for a dinner as our host from Jelsa recommended us the place and then we came again, and again as the food, service and climate was simply amazing! That was the best grilled lamb we have ever eaten! Moreover, the service provided by Matko was a pure pleasure to spend the evenings in Konoba Vrisnik. More than that, we loved the wine they served! “ We visited a few reataurants on Hvar, but this was the best one. Great service, nice atmosphere, but the hobotnica ispod peke was absolutely marvelous. Tender, tasty, everything it should be. Make sure to make a reservation (we were in July and had to book 2 days in advance). Enough parking space, no need to worry about that. ”

“ The restaurant was really amazing. We had the famous octopus we ordered two days in advance. It was ready basically as we walked in. It was excellent, full of flavors and very soft. For dessert we had the restaurants pancake and cheesecake and both were delicious. Honestly, only thing better was the amazing service we had, which was friendly, nice, multilingual and relaxed. Truly great experience and a wonderful place to visit. Can't recommend enough. Bonus: it was a lot cheaper then most places on the island. ”

The wines they serve are all local wines, and you really can't go wrong with any of the choices. The staff as well was very friendly and helpful. Great experience! ”
